Green Tier - Tier 1 Participant

Professional Plating Inc. (PPI) of Brillion, WI is committed to conduct their operations in a manner that is environmentally responsible, thus attaining environmental stewardship with their employees, customers and community. Past environmental improvements include the installation of a waste treatment system that reduced their hazardous waste generation by 75%, and the reduction of their VOC emissions by 65% over four years. As Green Tier participants, PPI will further reduce VOC emissions through continuous improvement activities, benchmarking with suppliers and following strict process control, increase efficiency of water use with state-of-the-art process equipment and recycling of process water, and work with the EPA to show that its solid waste should not be considered hazardous.
