Genmar Yacht Group, LLC manufactures luxury yachts under the brand names Carver and Marquis in Pulaski, Wisconsin. Genmar has demonstrated a commitment to superior environmental performance through its best management practices in stormwater pollution prevention, hazardous and non-hazardous waste management, wastewater management, spill prevention, and air emissions management. Genmar has achieved: small generator status due to successful hazardous waste minimization programs; a substantial reduction in VOC emissions, and a 40 percent reduction in wastewater discharges since 2002. The company has a mature recycling program and has established lean manufacturing programs to reduce wastes. As part of the Green Tier program, the Genmar Yacht Group will continue to enhance its existing environmental management system. It will continue efforts to reduce wastes, water and energy consumption and VOC/HAP emissions. Genmar Yacht Group believes Green Tier is the path to the future and it is proud to be leading the way.
