Green Tier - Tier 1 Participant

Casaloma Development Corporation, headquartered in Appleton, Wisconsin, is the first applicant to apply under the EccoDev Charter that the Development Council of the Wisconsin Builders Association and the Department of Natural Resources signed in 2005. Casaloma Development Corporation's commitment to environmental performance will be demonstrated through the implementation of an Environmental Management System under the direction of the EccoDev Charter. Like others that will participate in Green Tier through the EccoDev Charter, Casaloma Development Corporation will work with EccoDev to help educate and involve excavators, builders, landscapers and homeowners in superior environmental performance. Casaloma Development Corporation commits to minimizing waste through recycling and on-site management, maximizing energy efficient construction and products, and using native Wisconsin plants and grasses in landscaping. A new community, The Cottages at Woodside Green in Neenah, Wisconsin, will spotlight new technologies for managing storm water.
