Green Tier - Tier 1 Participant

ABB Inc. is an international developer and producer of power drives, control systems and power converters for the manufacturing sector. The ISO 14001 certified facility in New Berlin, WI relies on employees to lead the way to environmental improvements. Their sector specialist team identifies ways to improve energy efficiency throughout the lifetime of their products, while their continual environmental improvement program provides incentives to employees to share their ideas to improve performance. ABB's goals as a Green Tier participant include reducing its carbon footprint by installing energy efficient lighting, improving product shipping processes and reducing the energy consumed by its production lines. ABB will also expand its internal recycling program and reduce its chemical waste stream.
