Green and Growning Event

Legislators, local officials, representatives of the news media, state regulatory and policy officials and representatives from Wisconsin's leading business and environmental organizations were invited to travel together on regional bus tours to the top environmentally innovative projects across the state, including MGE cogeneration facility, Holsum Dairies, MEGTEC Systems, the Alliant Wind Farm, Pioneer Farm at UW Platteville, Sweetwood Builders, Cook Composites and Polymers, SC Johnson, WE Energies and more. Participants examined, experienced and discussed these exciting examples of the future of environmental and economic cooperation. Tours occured in the Madison, Milwaukee, Platteville and Fax Valley areas.
