Kim McCutcheon
Kim McCutcheon is a 23 year veteran with the department having held positions in Public Drinking Water Supply, Wastewater Management, Superfund Program, Emergency Response, and Remediation and Redevelopment. This diverse background was a natural stepping stone to pursue completion of a number of ISO 14000 RAB certified courses including completion of Lead Auditor training. Kim's interest in systems management has been useful in pursuing new strategies to manage difficult environmental issues, such as land use, nuisance concerns to name a few. Kim values the power of our interested public to improve the environment. She holds a certificate of completion for Public Participation from the International Association for Public Participation.
Kim is member of the Bureau of Waste Management's Special Waste Team and has worked on best management practices for many ubiquitous products in modern society.
Kim's newest assignment will be leading the Construction and Demolition Industry Sector initiatives. The department is engaged at many levels but the initial tasks will revolve around taking the mystery out of department regulations and streamlining processes to manage environmental issues.
