Army

Fort McCoy [exit DNR] is a U.S. Army Reserve installation with a mission to enhance readiness by supporting training, serving as a Power Projection Platform for mobilization, providing installation management expertise, and providing selected services to Department of Defense and non-Department of Defense organizations.

EPA

U.S. EPA promotes pollution prevention through grants, information development and exchange, support of Pollution Prevention (P2) partnerships and other voluntary programs, and inclusion of pollution prevention into regulatory programs and compliance activities.

Blue Devils The 88th Regional Support Command (88th RSC) [exit DNR] is headquartered at Fort Snelling, MN with responsibility for 26,000 citizen-soldiers in 270 units within the six-state area of Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Minnesota, Ohio, and Wisconsin. The 88th RSC's mission is to exercise command and control of assigned units, ensure readiness, provide area support services, and support emergency operations.
National Guard The Wisconsin Army National Guard [exit DNR] is headquartered in Madison, WI. The WIARNG has unique federal, state and community missions. In it's federal role, members of the WIARNG are part of the US Army Reserve Component and can be called to active duty by the president. In it's state role, the WIARNG is a resource to assist local law enforcement and emergency management agencies at the direction of the governor. Personnel of the WIARNG are part-time soldiers and fulltime citizens of the communities they serve, and the WIARNG and the WIARNG is an integral part of many communities.

The Wisconsin Army National Guard has a required mobilization day (M-day) strength of 7,962 soldiers. Principal elements of the WIARNG force structure include the 32nd Infantry Brigade (Light), 57th Field Artillery Brigade, 264th Engineer Group, Troop Command, and the State Area Command (STARC). These units are supported by 69 Armories, 11 Organizational Maintenance Shops (OMS), 2 Army Aviation Support Facilities (AASF), a Combined Support Maintenance Shop (CSMS), a Maneuver Area Training Equipment Site (MATES), the Wisconsin Military Academy and the U.S. Property & Fiscal Office for Wisconsin.

Air Force The peacetime and wartime missions of the 440th Airlift Wing (exit DNR) are global in scope. They are to maintain operational readiness for the airlift of tactical units, airborne units, personnel, supplies and equipment into prepared or unprepared areas by landing or airdrop. There are 1,316 Reservists, 199 Air Reserve Technicians and 488 civilians who are assigned to the Wing.
UW Ext The University of Wisconsin-Extension Solid and Hazardous Waste Education Center (SHWEC) [exit DNR] provides free, non-regulatory information, education and technical assistance for pollution prevention, waste reduction, re-use and recycling. SHWEC specialists are available from several key locations throughout Wisconsin.
