    What are the advantages of setting up a local workshop?

    • Requires less travel.
    • Provides opportunities to emphasize local resources.
    • Can be targeted to specific grade levels or groups.
    • One free workshop enrollment for being a workshop host and coordinator

    How can I arrange a workshop in my community?

    • Anyone can host and attend a workshop! Select a local teacher, nature center staff member, scout leader, parent or you, as a local coordinator to make workshop arrangements.
    • Contact the office to be partnered with a workshop facilitator.
    • Select a workshop date and location. Locations should allow for using the outdoors as a classroom.
    • Market the program locally and recruit a minimum of 10 participants.
    • Workshop coordinators recieve one FREE enrollment to the workshop that they help organize.

      (6 hour workshops)

      (8 hour workshops)
    • Project Learning Tree & Project WET = $30.00
    • Project WILD & Project Learning Tree = $35.00
    • Project WILD & Project WET = $40.00
      (12 hour workshop)
    • Project WILD, PLT & WET = $50.00

    * Project Learning Tree workshops for secondary educators includes one secondary module
