Deciduous Tree Leaf Shape

Deciduous Trees with alternative branching have two types of leaves. One type is called a "simple leaf" and the other is called a "compound leaf." A compound leaf is made up of many leaflets. For the next step look closely at your tree's leaves and choose which type of leaf you see on your tree.
