Everyone knows the blue jay and its angry "ki-ki-ki" or "j-j-j" call. Bright blue and crested, blue jays are common year-round residents in Wisconsin.

Blue jays will eat oil-type or hulled sunflower seeds. They'll also grab peanuts from your feeder if you put them out.
