It was the day of the kids' fishing contest and Taylor, Brianna, Dad and I were out in the boat fishing. It was a good day to go fishing, the only thing was we were getting lots of snags. I wasn't paying much attention to what I was doing, and of course, that's when my bobber went down. I quickly grabbed my pole and started reeling. I thought I had a snag because the only thing that was happening was my pole was bending. So, I asked my Dad, "I have a snag, can you get it out?" So he grabbed my pole and then he said, "Emily, you might want to reel this one in," so I finally got it in and Dad told me, "you caught a snag fish!" It turned out to be a 24-inch walleye.
