Encounter With a Snapping Turtle

One day I was fishing on Cadiz Springs in South Central Wisconsin. I was looking at my bobber and it went down. Strike! Earlier in the day I had seen a big snapping turtle around the area I was fishing. I reeled it in and it was a decent size bluegill. Oh no! The snapping turtle grabbed my bluegill which was still on the hook. My friends spread the alarm that I had caught a snapping turtle. Everybody in my fishing class came running down to where the incident was happening. "Help!" I shouted. A few seconds later my fishing teacher ran up. He was a little too late. My teacher said that before the snapping turtle bit the bluegill, it might have been an 8-inch fish.
