Reduced Assistance on Wisconsin Recycling Markets

Regrettably, Waste and Materials Management staff may not be able to respond to individual inquiries on recycling markets and market trends due to reductions in program budgets. The online version of the Markets Directory is not currently available but DNR is working with the University of Wisconsin-Extension Solid and Hazardous Waste Education Center (SHWEC) to make it available in the near future. We are investigating longer-term alternatives to providing this important service, and will inform directory users as other options become available.

In the interim SHWEC is able to provide limited assistance in locating markets for recovered materials. Contact Recycling Specialist Joe Van Rossum, (608) 262-0936 for assistance.
