AMERY, Wis. -- A First Day Hike scheduled for Jan. 1, 2018 at Stower Seven Lake State Trail has been postponed due to a forecast for sub-zero temperatures. The First Day Hike will be held January 27 at 5 p.m. This will be combined with our candlelight ski that evening.

At this time, Willow River State Park has also cancelled, but the other First Day Hikes scheduled around the state are still scheduled to take place. Check the Department of Natural Resources website, Facebook page or Twitter feed for other possible cancellations.

For more information about Stower Seven Lakes State Trail, search the DNR website for "Stower Seven Lakes."
