WISCONSIN DELLS - Join DNR representatives, city officials (invited) and local firefighters as they dedicate the newly redesigned Smokey Bear Park in front of the Wisconsin Dells Ranger Station. The new garden uses Firewise landscaping principles designed by local Master Gardeners Dan and Laura Reger, who donated their time and expertise. As a result of this project, the Ranger Station is the first recognized Firewise Education Site in Wisconsin, a new pilot program of the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA).
