MADISON - The Military Ridge, Badger and Sugar River State Trails have been temporarily closed due to downed trees and damage caused by a series of strong storms that passed through Southern Wisconsin Wednesday evening, the Department of Natural Resources announced today.
Crews have already begun the clean up process and expect each of the three trails to open by late Friday afternoon, June 10, 2011.
State parks in the area received minimal damage in the storms, but all remain open.
