Target Invasive Plants

Be on the lookout for these plants! Some are already growing in Wisconsin in limited locations and numbers. The aim is to stop these species from spreading any further, and to eliminate existing populations. For plants not known to be here yet, the goal is to keep them out of the state by recognizing and eradicating them soon after they arrive.

Make Invasive Plants History!

Special public recognition will be given to individuals or groups who are among the first to find new invasives (species currently unknown in Wisconsin). Plus, if you collect and send pressed specimens, they will become part of the permanent collection of the Wisconsin State Herbarium - with your name recorded as collector.
