Tree Planting - Global Warming Policy Draft! Governor Doyle’s Task Force on Global Warming has created a series of draft polices for consideration in the development of a plan to reduce Wisconsin’s contribution to global warming. Ron Zillmer, Associate Dean of Mid-State Technical College and representative of the Wisconsin Urban Forestry Council, is a member of the forestry and agriculture working group which has developed a draft policy utilizing urban tree planting. The Wisconsin Urban Forestry Council has endorsed the policy. It is important for the Task Force to hear your voice regarding the value of urban forestry.
