Wood Residue BrokersWood residues have become a valuable raw material for a number of Wisconsin companies. In past decades, materials such as sawdust and bark were considered a waste product and disposed of in landfills. Today, wood residues are used in such products as landscape mulch, paper, and engineered wood products. Table 1 below lists the Wisconsin companies currently engaged in the wood residue market.
