Newsletters

The DNR Division of Forestry produces the following newsletters for the public:

• The Insider - An electronic newsletter of breaking news and valuable information for the Urban Forest community in Wisconsin and beyond which is produced biweekly by the Urban and Community Forestry program.
• Point of Origin - information about the services, products, and direction of the Wisconsin DNR and the various partners in protection, referring specifically to wildfire prevention, suppression, and outreach.
• Wisconsin Forestry Notes - Produced monthly highlighting programs and activities of Wisconsin DNR.
• Wisconsin Urban & Community Forests - Produced quarterly intended for community officials and staff, professionals, businesses, volunteers and citizens interested and involved in urban forestry.
• Forest Tax and Stewardship Newsletters - Published once or twice per year as funding permits and mailed to all forest landowners enrolled in Wisconsin Forest Tax Law programs.
• Wisconsin Wood Marketing Bulletin - Published every three months, it serves the timber producing and wood using industries of Wisconsin.
