Purchase Seed
Planting tree seeds is a reforestation alternative to planting seedlings on some sites. The state nursery program will acquire or has on hand seeds of the following species for 2009 – 2010. Successful application of this practice may require specialized site preparation, seeding methods, and post seeding followup. For this reason, contact with a knowlegable forester is required prior to ordering seed.
An application form for ordering this seed and other information is available from DNR and cooperating consulting foresters.
