fGIS was created to assist forestry field staff and its partners with a light weight GIS solution. The Forestry Division has made this application available to the entire DNR and its partners, but will only provide support to Forestry staff and partners.

This software is provided gratuitously. Neither the University of Wisconsin nor the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources shall be liable under any theory for any damages suffered by you or any user of the software.

The software may be copied and shared with other authorized users provided it is not sold. Authorized users are defined as State of Wisconsin personnel and external partners who cooperate with WI DNR programs.

The software code shall not be decompiled, altered or integrated into other products. This software may only be used by State of Wisconsin employees and partners and may not be marketed and/or distributed to the general GIS software user market.
