Learn-to-Fish License Waiver

The Learn-to-Fish License Waiver offers a free, one-time, one-day fishing opportunity for older students engaged in an educational fishing program such as the Department of Natural Resources Angler Education Program or a school-based program or group event that covers a range of topics including skills, fishing regulations, outdoor ethics, fish biology, aquatic ecology, and habitat investigation.

A license waiver application and related forms are available to mentors and teachers who meet the requirements outlined in the Learn to Fish [PDF 37KB] document. If you are unable to access the forms, let us know and we'll send them overland the old fashioned way! Please provide a complete mailing address when you contact us.
