Governor's Task Force on Global Warming
Public Input Sessions
March 19, 2008
In March 2008 the Task Force held a public input session simultaneously in Madison, Milwaukee, Green Bay and La Crosse by videoconference. Citizens were encouraged to provide written or oral comments on the Task Force’s Interim Report (A Wisconsin Strategy for Reducing Global Warming [PDF 4.8MB]) and overall progress of the Task Force. Public comment will be taken into consideration by the Task Force as it prepares its final recommendations for the Governor. Details of the session can be found in the Press Release [PDF 41KB]. In August 2007 the Task Force held a public input session as they began to address the issues outlined by Governor Doyle in Executive Order 191. The August 2007 session was also held simultaneously in Madison, Milwaukee, Green Bay and La Crosse by videoconference.
