Karner Blue Butterfly Habitat Conservation Plan (HCP) Annual Monitoring Training
The Habitat Conservation Plan Monitoring Training is primarily intended for all HCP Partners’ staff and those contracted by partners. This certification is requiredfor anyone completing any monitoring surveys in compliance with the Wisconsin Karner Blue Butterfly HCP and must be renewed every five years.
The training will include Karner blue butterfly identification, issues of variability in habitat, habitat elements, and Karner blue butterfly behavior, surveying procedures and completion of monitoring forms.
