Detailed information: The city of Fond du Lac has requested approval from the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources to dispose of sediments that have been dredged from Lakeside Park's Fisherman's Pier. They propose to use the material as fill and landscape material at various sites in Fond du Lac including property located at 566 N Main St., an area west of the Lakeside Park dog park, the Fox Ridge Business Park, and for repairing damaged lawns due to municipal construction projects. The purpose of the meeting is to solicit public comment and answer questions on the proposal. There will be a brief introduction and explanation of the project by DNR and city of Fond du Lac representatives. The meeting will then be opened up for questions and comments.
