The MacKenzie Center is hosting the Fourth Annual Midwest Outdoor Heritage Education Expo for 4th-6th grade classrooms. Registration is required for this free event, and transportation grants are available. Visit the Outdoor Heritage Education Center to register or learn more.

Story Time with the Animals

Time: 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

Introduce your toddler or pre-school aged child to the outdoors during story time. The MacKenzie Center features a live wildlife exhibit with native Wisconsin animals. An Afternoon with Wildlife

MacKenzie Center 4-Day Outdoor Skills Camp (registration required)

Time: 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Activities: Educational Programs, Fishing, Forestry, Nature study, Outdoor activity, Outdoor skills, Wildlife study
Location: MacKenzie Center

During this 4-day camp for 4th-6th graders, kids will have the chance to learn and participate in many outdoor activities, including archery, fishing, woodcutting, fire-building, shelter building, camping, and more! The week will be capped off with a trip to Devil's Lake where campers will be able to go hiking, swimming, and canoeing! Cost of the 4-day camp is $100.
