Meet Cindy Mueller, a fourth generation descendant of a High Cliff family and kiln worker, and park volunteers inside the General Store and post office. Learn about the history of High Cliff Village and how "the Ledge" played an important part in the lime kilns.

Steve Keller's Traveling Snake Show

Learn about the habitat of native Wisconsin snakes such as the fox, bull and timber rattle snakes. Participants may also have the opportunity to handle snakes in a safe, controlled environment. Located behind the General Store.

Playing with Shakespeare: Get Outside with Will Children's Workshop

Think Shakespeare is old and boring? Think again! Join the Summit Players for 45 minutes of fun and brain acrobatics! Play some games, work with some text, and explore the natural world. Learn how Shakespeare used nature in his plays and why his characters talk the way they do. Shed any iambic penta-jitters, then join us for the show! 1 p.m. workshop; 2:30 p.m. performance. Meet at the Upper Park Pavilion.

Shakespeare in the Park: "The Comedy of Errors"

Time: 2:30 p.m. to 3:45 p.m.
Activities: Outdoor activity, Theater production
Location: High Cliff SP

The Summit Players are a traveling, seven member theatre company who present short, accessible, free Shakespeare workshops and performances to audiences around the state of Wisconsin. Summit Players shows are produced with new cuttings of Shakespeare's scripts that become tight, 75-minute shows of mayhem, character switches, and hilarity. The production is 'Shakespeare out of a trunk,' with minimal set, costumes and props and a focus on actors, as per the style of Shakespeare's time. Prior to the performance, company members will lead a 45-minute children's workshop. 1 p.m. workshop; 2:30 p.m. performance. Meet at the Upper Park Pavilion.

Butterfly Walk

Meet Park Stewardship Coordinator, Sarah Chisholm, to learn about WI native butterflies. We will identify the food they eat and search for and identify caterpillars and eggs. This trail is paved for accessibility. Strollers, wheel chairs and all ages are welcome! Meet at the trailhead.
