Calling all birding enthusiasts! Join us as we take to the trails in search of spring migrants. Sarah and Bill will share their enthusiasm and wealth of knowledge in this easy paced hike. We will explore forests, forest edges and meadows so come prepared. Bring binoculars if you have them. This is for all experience levels. Meet at the park office, Lot 1.

Newport SP information

Newport State Park, northeast of Ellison Bay, is Wisconsin's only formally-designated wilderness park. With 2,373 acres and 11 miles of Lake Michigan shoreline, the park offers quiet alternatives to bustling Door County. Explore 30 miles of hiking trails with hike-in campsites. There are evergreen and hardwood forests, wetlands and upland meadows.
