The 4,300 acre flowage, which straddles the Wisconsin-Michigan border near Land O'Lakes in northeastern Vilas County, has experienced a decline in walleye abundance and recruitment over the past decade. The draft plan proposes a variety of steps such as targeted stocking, changes in bag limits and additional monitoring to address the decline. The other meeting will be held April 6 in Phelps.

The BSG Lender Liability Exemption Subcommittee was recently formed to examine the statutory exemptions for lenders from liability for hazardous substance discharges under Section 292.21, Wisconsin Statutes.
