Form 4400-237 requesting an NFA Letter was submitted by Tetra Tech on behalf of WM Waste, Inc. to the WDNR on 2/15/2021. An NFA Determination was requested based on the nonemergency response actions taken pursuant to NR 708.05(3), Wis. Admin. Code in December of 2020. The WDNR submitted a letter to WM Waste, Inc on 7/14/2021 not recommending case closure, and requiring additional investigation and remediation. In response to this WDNR determination, Tetra Tech created a Site Investigation Work Plan, submitted to the WDNR on 10/15/2021. The Site Investigation Work Plan outlined a response congruent to the items outlined in the WDNR determination, providing a plan to determine the degree and extent of residual mercury contamination using RCLs, as well as additional remedial actions. As of the end of the Semi-Annual Reporting period on 12/31/21, no written response from the WDNR has been received.
