Form 4400-225 Notification for Hazardous Substance Discharge and associated analytical results was submitted to the DNR on 12/3/2020. Additional documentation including a map and table of results were submitted to the DNR via email on 12/9/2020. A response action consisting of the over-excavation of contaminated soil occurred from 12/11/2020 through 12/16/2020. Confirmation samples were obtained and sent to a certified lab for analysis. Excavated soil was placed in covered roll offs to be further analyzed for off-site disposal at a licensed solid waste facility. Tetra Tech of Madison, WI was hired as the Qualified Environmental Consultant on 1/7/2021. Based on the response actions taken to address contamination and the results of the confirmation samples, a report is in development to request an NFA Determination.
