Smoke reading/visible emissions

WDNR will accept visible emission (V.E.) readings for compliance demonstration purposes provided they are accompanied by proof of the reader's certification (copy of certification card, including certification date and expiration date) and submitted with the reported V.E. results.

WDNR does not sponsor or approve visible emission certification programs. Individual V.E. certification can be obtained from any state agency or private vendor offering a qualified V.E. certification program.
