The Green(er) Machine
Environmental Education for Car Owners

The Green(er) Machineis a philosophical guide to preventing your car from becoming an environmental menace. Produced by the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources, this booklet is a revised version of The Green Machine, and covers such familiar topics as auto maintenance and 'green driving,' along with some new topics like car sharing. Cartoon graphics and easy-to-understand language make it fun to read for both adults and high school students. Driver Education teachers have found this booklet very useful in the classroom.
