NR 438 Specific Rule Information for Talc reporting

Talc (PDF, 1,109KB) refers to a mineral product containing mainly crystalline hydrated silicate of magnesium that is usually in the form of plates but it may also be in the form of fibers. The ambient air concentration (AAC) for talc assumes the talc contains no asbestos fibers.

The size fraction used for emission calculations is PM10.
