NR 438 Specific Rule Information for Polycyclic Organic Matter (POM) reporting

POM consists of over 100 identified compounds, and is defined by the Federal Clean Air Act as organic compounds with more than one benzene ring that have a boiling point greater than or equal to 100 deg C.

You are required to report POM under ch. NR 438, Wis. Adm. Code as a total of the pollutants comprising POM. A list of the POM pollutants is available on a spreadsheet (XLS, 25KB) and in a pdf file (PDF, 7KB).
