NR 438 Specific Rule Information for Barium Sulfate

The amount of barium sulfate emitted by the emission unit should not be included in the hazardous air pollutant reported total of "Barium, soluble compounds, as Ba" because barium sulfate is not water soluble. Note: Barium sulfate is also not reported to the Toxics Release Inventory under SARA 313.
