2009 Air Reporting System (ARS)

Significant changes

• No Reporting Requirements Screen. 2008 ARS required users visit a screen that determined the data requirements for he program. 2009 ARS has already made this determination and so the Reporting Requirments screen is not necessary.
• ARS 2009 Calculates emissions. The Oracle database behind 2009 ARS will calculate emissions at the facility, device, and process levels after you click a calculate button.
• Combining of Reported and Continuous Emission Monitoring (CEM) data. 2008 ARS required CEM data be reported on a separate screen from emissions calculated at the facility. These two screens are now combined.

Tips For Running Program

• If possible, we suggest you use Microsoft Internet Explorer Version 6 as your web browser for this application
• Each page in which you enter data contains a save button. You must click on the save button to save the information you entered.
• If you do not have all of the information available to you during one session, you can return to the program at another time and the data you saved will be presented presented to you at the new session.
• The program will disconnect from your computer if it detects no key action over a 20 minute period.
• Each page has help information which supplies information about the data on that screen.
