Reports and Documents

In 1993 the DNR completed the first of 4 reports which collectively formed a statewide, cross sector study of greenhouse gas emissions. The series of reports was titled "Wisconsin Greenhouse Gas Emissions Inventory and Emission Reduction Cost Study" and culminated in 1998 with the development of a Climate Change Action Plan. Since then the greenhouse gas inventory has been updated in 2004 and 2007. These reports and other DNR materials are presented below, with the most recent documents appearing first.

  This report was produced with input, review, and discussion by the Climate Change Committee created by DNR Secretary George Meyer in 1994. It was the culmination of the Wisconsin Greenhouse Gas Emissions Inventory and Emission Reduction Cost Study reports, and contains many recommendations on what Wisconsin could do to address the issue of climate change and reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
