NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on Monday, September 22, 2008, a quorum of the Natural Resources Board will arrive at approximately 6:00 6:30 a.m. at the Necedah National Wildlife Refuge, Necedah for a tour and presentation on whooping cranes. At approximately 1:00 12:45 p.m., the Board will arrive at the Wisconsin Rapids Service Center, 473 Griffith Avenue, Wisconsin Rapids for a presentation on the Central Wisconsin Grasslands Conservation Area project. At approximately 1:15 p.m., the Board will depart for Buena Vista Marsh, Wisconsin Rapids for a tour and presentation on prairie chicken management. Modified

NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that on Tuesday, September 23, 2008, the Natural Resources Board will tour and receive presentations at the following locations: At approximately 12:30 p.m., the Board will depart for the Ice Age Trail and Dells of the Eau Claire County Park, 500 Forest Street, Wausau. At approximately 2:30 p.m., the Board will travel to Granite Peak Ski Area, 3605 North Mountain Road, Wausau. At approximately 4:20 p.m., the Board will travel to Rib Mountain State Park, 4200 Park Road, Wausau. At approximately 6:45 p.m. the Board will depart for the Leigh Yawkey Woodson Art Museum, 700 North Twelfth Street, Wausau.

NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that the Natural Resources Board will convene at 8:30 a.m. on Wednesday, September 24, 2008, at the Holiday Inn Hotel & Suites, Rothschild. The Board will act on items 1-7 as listed on the Agenda.

NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that matters concerning natural resource issues or the Department's program responsibilities or operations specified in the Wisconsin Statutes, which arise after publication of this agenda may be added to the agenda and publicly noticed no less than two hours before the scheduled board meeting, if the Board Chair determines that the matter is urgent.
