NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on Tuesday, August 12, 2014, the Natural Resources Board will tour and/or receive presentations at the following locations (Note: The public must preregister with Board Liaison to attend scheduled tours. Registration information is located on the last page of the agenda. Exact tour schedule is subject to change): at approximately noon, the Board will receive an overview on the Flambeau Mine site reclamation project at the Grand Pines Motel and Conference Center, 9830 N. Haskins Road, Hayward, WI. At approximately 1:30 p.m., the Board will arrive at the Exeland Rod and Gun Club, N. Elm Park Drive and Dunn Road, Exeland, WI, for a crossbow demonstration and presentation on hunter safety curriculum. At approximately 3:15 p.m., the Board will arrive at the Reclaimed Flambeau Mine Nature Trails site, N4339 State Highway 27, Ladysmith, WI, for a walking tour.

NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that the Natural Resources Board will have a social and dinner discussion with tribal leaders beginning at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, August 12, 2014, at The Landing, 8255 N. County Road CC, Hayward, WI.

NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that the Natural Resources Board will convene at 8:30 a.m. on Wednesday, August 13, 2014, in the Royal Oaks Room at Famous Dave’s Conference Center, 9993 N. Grand Pines Road, Hayward, WI. The Board will act on items 1-3 and 6-7 as listed on the Agenda.

NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that on Wednesday, August 13, 2014 at approximately 10:45 a.m. at Famous Dave’s Conference Center, 9993 N. Grand Pines Road, Hayward, WI, the Natural Resources Board will meet in closed session under the authority of s.19.85(1)(e) Wisconsin Statutes for purposes of discussing potential real estate transactions.

NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that matters concerning natural resource issues or the Department's program responsibilities or operations specified in the Wisconsin Statutes, which arise after publication of this agenda may be added to the agenda and publicly noticed no less than two hours before the scheduled board meeting, if the Board Chair determines that the matter is urgent.
